#DineLA and EDA

Hello EDA friends!

We are so excited that DineLA is happening again this year, in spite of challenges from COVID-19. Now more than ever it’s important to celebrate local restaurants and embrace the changes restaurants across Los Angeles have had to overcome to continue to operate. We all need a morale boost in these crazy times, and we think there’s no better way to celebrate than coming together and sharing a meal.

We’re excited to announce that EDA will be participating in this year’s DineLA from September 1-18! We’ve put together a great menu and we’re looking forward to sharing it with you!

The Lunch Menu is as follows:

Appetizer (choose 1):

Soup of the Day (meat or plant based)

House Salad

Organic mixed green salad, cucumber, tomato, pickled onion, house-made croutons and cilantro dressing. (vg) 

Roasted Poblano Caesar Salad 

Romaine lettuce, mandarin orange, house-made crouton and Caesar Poblano dressing. 

+add Parmesan cheese, +1  

Classic Fries 

+add Truffle oil, +1 (vg, gf) 

  

Main (choose 1):

 Braised Short Rib Tacos (2)

Slow braised short rib, cabbage slaw, pickled red onion, traditional guacamole, spicy aioli & cilantro on corn tortilla. (gf)  

Cali Fish Tacos (2)

Seasonal local fish, cabbage slaw, avocado, Tillamook cheddar-jack cheese, pico de gallo & spicy aioli  on corn tortilla. (gf)  

Ratatouille Tacos (2) 

roasted potato, cabbage slaw, avocado, pico de gallo & house-made red salsa on corn tortilla. (vg, gf)  

Chicken Tinga Tostadas (2) 

Shredded chicken breast, tomato and onion stewed in chipotle sauce, refried beans, avocado, tomato, lettuce, pico de gallo, red salsa & sour cream on fried corn tortilla.  (gf)

Americano Guacamole - Pico de Gallo & Chips 

House-made traditional guacamole with Haas avocado & lime juice, Pico de Gallo (tomato, onion, jalapeño, cilantro & lime juice) with house-made corn chips. (gf)  

Chef’s Pick - Local Artisan Charcuterie & Cheese 

Chef’s pick of one (1) charcuterie & one (1) cheese served with house-made herbed butter, marinated green olives, roasted tomatoes dressed in California extra olive oil & balsamic reduction, almonds, dried fruits, fresh grapes, crackers and baguettes. 

Empanada (Choose one) 

Veggie-Cheese, Spicy Beef-Cheese or Chicken Tinga. 

Organic Cherry Tomato & Truffle Burrata 

Locally made creamy Truffle Burrata, marinated organic cherry tomato, fresh basil & garlic. Topped with balsamic reduction & California Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

 

Main (Choose 1): 

Smoked Corned Beef Brisket 

Slow cooked & smoked beef brisket, served with carrots, seasonal vegetable, demi-glace and garlic mashed potatoes. (gf) 

Braised Pork Cheeks 

Slow cooked pork cheeks served with our homemade stock with hint of chipotle, creamy polenta, chimichurri sauce & cilantro garnish. (gf)  

Togarashi Fried Chicken 

Chicken breasts brined, seasoned with Cajun and Togarashi chili, cooked in sous vide and deep fried, drizzled with honey. Served with spicy aioli mayo sauce, garlic mashed potatoes and brined coleslaw.

Salmon Beurre Blanc 

Pan-seared salmon served with organic quinoa, ratatouille, caramelized onion, roasted garlic, and beurre blanc sauce. (gf)  

Vegetarian Bowl 

Duxelles (mixed wild mushrooms, onion, walnuts & herbs), butternut squash, herbed brown rice, cauliflower, avocado, tomato, rocket arugula and Parmesan cheese (v, nuts). Optional: add poached egg, +2; add poached chicken, +4; add pan seared salmon, +8
